What is andyod.net?
The andyod.net web site is a personal site that serves two purposes:
1. It is a place where I can share information, pictures, videos, etc with friends and family.
2. It provides me with a "workshop" where I can further enhance my skills related to developing, deploying and managing web content.
Andyod.net employs a CMS software package called Joomla 1.5. |

In 2005 I first started using an applicationa called PhotoShow to create flash presentations of family pictures. Typically if I take a hundred pictures I end up with 20-25 "keepers" which is enough for a 2-3minute show. I use PhotoShop to crop and clean the pics then import them into PhotoShow. The default settings will make a decent show and then I export as flash presentation and upload to my website. It seems to be a fairly mercifull method of showing your family pics to people since it tends to limit the event to a couple of minutes and forces you to select just the best pictures.
Below is a link to a sample photoshow. It's mostly pics from the summer of 2008. Margate beach, Ocean City boardwalk, Meghan's graduation party etc.....
